Rochelle Davis Biography:
Born in Philadelphia, Rochelle Davis grew up like any normal kid, and always had an interest in acting. She was a clever child who loved to perform and had a particular passion for music in particular. Davis took drama, dance, and vocal classes as a kid, and acted in a lot of plays. By the age of nine, she had already made the decision that this is what she wanted to do with her life. One day, at the age of 12, Davis beat over 1500 potential applicants to secure the role of Sarah in cult comic book film The Crow (1994). This was despite having no prior professional acting experience at all.
The movie was a big success and brought Davis critical acclaim, however, it was marred by tragedy. The accidental death of Brandon Lee midway through the filming process cast a shadow over The Crow. It also had a profound effect on Davis, who would not act again for 15 years! After leaving the film business, she has worked as a singer, artist, and photographer. She also attended numerous sci-fi and fantasy conventions over the years and still does.
In 2009 Rochelle decided it was time to get back into the business, and she made her comeback with a small role in the movie Hell House (2009). Since then, Davis has appeared in the movie Grotesque (2016) and is currently filming a movie called Revenge of the Devil Bat. She continues as a vocal performer and photographer, and her film career looks to be back on track as well.
