Kurt Fuller Biography:

Born and raised in San Francisco, Kurt Fuller attended Lincoln High School in Stockton, California. Upon graduating in 1971, he decided to attend UC Berkeley, where he took a keen interest in acting, despite majoring in English Literature. After graduating Fuller moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actor. It didn’t work out quite as he had planned, and he worked as a realtor by day and a theater actor by night. He did this for 10 years, before winning the lead in Kvetch in 1986. The play was hugely successful and launched his career.

A year later he had made a successful transition to the big screen with his first role coming in The Running Man (1987). He frequently became cast as smarmy and unlikable authority figures, most notably in movies like Ghostbusters II (1989), and Wayne’s World (1992). He also had a role in Elvira, Mistress of the Dark (1988). On TV, Fuller’s best-known roles are in Alias and Psyche.

In recent years, Kurt is probably best-known for his performances in The Pursuit of Happyness (2006), the TV series Supernatural, and Midnight in Paris (2011). Fuller has been married to actress and writer Jessica Hendra since 1993, and the couple have two children.
