Larisa Oleynik Biography:

Larisa Oleynik was born in California in 1981, born to a nurse and anesthesiologist. She was raised in San Francisco Bay Area and attended Pinewood School as a child. Success came thick and fast at an early age for Larisa, as her passion for acting was apparent at a young age. When she was just 8-years-old, she got her big break when she appeared in a production of Les Miserables, after seeing an audition ad in the newspaper.

Following the role, she began to take acting lessons and was signed by an agent. This quickly led to a transition from stage to screen, and she made an appearance in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman at the age of 12. A year later she won the starring role in the TV comedy-drama series The Secret World of Alex Mack. The series was a huge hit and catapulted Oleynik to teenage superstardom. During the series’ run she also appeared in the movie The Baby-Sitters Club (1995).

She made appearances in 3 episodes of Boy Meets World, and, following the end of Alex Mack, had a recurring role in 3rd Rock From the Sun. She also enjoyed a role in her best-known film 10 Things I Hate About You (1999). Larisa has appeared in the movies Bringing Rain (2003), and Jessabelle (2013), as well as having recurring roles in Mad Men and Pretty Little Liars.
