Logan Lerman Biography:
Logan Wade Lerman is an American actor, he was born in Beverly Hills into a Jewish family. Logan and his family have a wonderfully diverse mix, with his grandparents being born in four different countries. The 25-year-old has stated that the majority of his family work in the medical profession, and he considered this before becoming an actor.
In fact, at the age of two, he had decided he wanted to become an actor. By the age of four, Lehman had an agent and was booked for commercials. His film debut came in 2000 at the age of eight, when he played Mel Gibson’s youngest son in The Patriot. He also appeared with Gibson in What Women Want (2000) in the same year. A few years later Lerman played the role a young Evan in the Ashton Kutcher movie The Butterfly Effect (2004).
As his career began to pick up, Logan was offered more and more roles, and he tried to mix up the genres. He appeared alongside Jim Carrey in the thriller The Number 23 (2007), acted with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale in the Western 3:10 to Yuma (2007), and took the lead role in Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010). This was the part that really catapulted Lehman to fame, and since then he has appeared in Noah (2014), and Fury (2014), as well as Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013).
Outside of acting, Lehman has been keen on expanding his education, and he applied for a creative writing course at New York University in 2010 but postponed his application when his career took off. Additionally, Logan also plays music in the band Indigo, though he states that the band is purely a fun side-project.
