Kit Harington and Rose Leslie – Game of Thrones
One of the primary love stories in the second season of “Game of Thrones” was the one between Jon Snow and Ygritte. The actors who played this on-screen couple obviously had an instant connection, as it wasn’t long before they were dating in real life. The show may not be known for having happy endings, but Kit and Rose’s relationship certainly bucks this trend. The beautiful Icelandic scenery clearly added some heat to the pair’s growing romance.
Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman – Revenge
VanCamp and Bowman started dating whilst filming the now-canceled ABC drama “Revenge”. Whilst the relationship between their characters on the show was full of secrets and lies, their off-screen life together seems to be much more harmonious. Things are still going strong seven years later, with the couple becoming engaged in 2017. Relationship goals? We think so! When asked whether they had any plans on getting hitched in 2018, the actress shyly said, “Maybe.”
Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin – Veronica Mars
Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin played Logan’s parents on “Veronica Mars”. Their onscreen marriage may not have been successful but their real one has stood the test of time, as they’ve been married since 1997. They have two daughters and have worked together on various projects. They’re currently starring in “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Bravo. Staying happily married for over two decades in Hollywood is no easy feat, which goes to show just how perfect they are for each other!
Blake Lively and Penn Badgley — Gossip Girl
Lovebirds Dan Humphrey and Serena van der Woodsen may have tied the knot in the finale of “Gossip Girl”, but Blake Lively and Penn Badgley’s relationship had fizzled out by the end of the show’s second season. The actors split up halfway through series two, however, they kept it a secret from the other cast members for months. That’s one way of taking the “staying friends with an ex” concept to another level!
Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia – Gilmore Girls
Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia were an item on Gilmore Girls, but romance blossomed offscreen too. The pair met when Milo joined the show in 2001, and they began dating a year later. They kept their relationship secret for four years and even talked about marriage. However, it wasn’t to be, as they split in 2006. The former couple must be on good terms these days as they reprised their roles for the Gilmore Girls Netflix reboot in 2016.
Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis – It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Charlie Kelly, portrayed by the hilarious Day, was obsessed with Mary Elizabeth Ellis’ character (known as ‘The Waitress’) for eight seasons of the show “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”. So much so that there was a restraining order to keep him away from her. The good news is, there’s no such legal barrier in place in real life. He and Mary Elizabeth Ellis have been happily married since 2006 and had their first child together in 2011.
James Roday and Maggie Lawson – Psych
Roday and Lawson fell in love on the set of the “Psych”, which aired from 2006-14. They dated for the duration of filming the show, but it wasn’t to last, with the pair splitting in 2014. They played Snow White and Prince Charming and clearly the passion they showed on-screen spilled over into real life. The pair dated for several years before they got married and became parents. They now have two sons together and are living happily ever after. Now don’t try and tell us that fairy stories don’t happen in real life!
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher — That ’70s Show
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher met in 1998 when they both starred in the hit TV show “That ‘70s Show”. She was just 14 when the first episode aired, and her on-screen kiss with Ashton was her first kiss ever. Whilst it took the pair many years to realize that they were destined to be together, the couple are now happier than ever. They married in 2014 and have two children together.
Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof — Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof met whilst filming the cult TV classic “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. However, they didn’t start dating right away as Alexis didn’t like to date people he worked with. They have two daughters together – Keeva Jane Denisof and Satyana Marie Denisof, and currently, live in Encino.
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev — The Vampire Diaries
Elena Gilbert may have a tough time choosing between Stefan and Damon
Salvatore on the TV show “The Vampire Diaries”, but for a long time, the actress who played her was very much Team Ian Somerhalder. Nina and Ian dated for a number of years but unfortunately didn’t get their happy ever after. They split in 2013, however, the former couple remain good friends, even regularly catching up over dinner. It’s always nice when exes can get along!

Kaley and Johnny dated in secret for two years whilst filming “The Big Bang Theory”. Despite their characters’ relationship going from strength to strength, their own fizzled out and the couple split soon enough. Lea Michele and Cory Monteith — Glee
The actors began their romance in 2012, not long after “Glee” began filming. They spent much of their time together and quickly began planning for their future. However, destiny played a cruel trick and changed their plans, as in 2013, Cory passed away as a result of substance abuse. Lea displayed immense strength to recover from this traumatic event, and only recently has she started dating again. She says that she feels Cory’s presence every day.

In 2015, they became parents when Charlotte gave birth to a baby boy.

There’s much speculation surrounding Sam and Caitriona’s relationship. They’re often seen holding hands and attending social events together, yet the pair have always been reluctant to confirm that they’re an item. Whether they are or not isn’t certain, but no-one can deny the passion they share on-screen. The stars of “Outlander” have arguably the hottest chemistry on television. We bet you can’t watch series one’s wedding episode without blushing! The affair between Claire and Jamie really is hotter than the sun.

The worst thing is, their characters in the show continued dating and they even tied the knot in the 2009 finale. Talk about pouring salt in the wounds!
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer – True Blood
The chemistry between these two actors was just so perfect that they started dating not long after filming the show’s pilot, a year prior to it even hitting our TV screens. Moyer has previously said that by day three or shooting, he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Paquin.
Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson – The OC
Although Summer took several seasons to fall for the ultra-loveable geek Seth in “The OC”, Rachel Bilson realized her feelings for Adam Brody much more quickly. They called it a day in 2007 and Segel has since openly discussed the split. Although he claims he didn’t base the character of Sarah Marshall in his movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” solely on Cardellini, he has acknowledged that she dumped him in a similar fashion. Ouch, if you’ve ever seen that scene, you’ll know that’s got to hurt!
Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan – Alias

Onscreen, her character Sydney fell for Michael, played by Vartan, whilst working together for a top-secret branch of the CIA. Kat Dennings and Nick Zano – 2 Broke Girls
Nick Zano played the love interest of Kat Dennings on the CBS show “2 Broke Girls,” and it wasn’t long before the pair took romance off-screen as too. Just a few weeks after breaking it off with then-girlfriend Haylie Duff, Zano and Dennings went to a Lakers-Rockets basketball game in 2011 and showed the world just how into each other they were. These guys weren’t afraid of PDAs! By 2014, the couple had called it quits and Dennings began dating Josh Groban.
Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser – Mad Men
In the globally acclaimed AMC series, “Mad Men”, the characters Pete and Beth cheat on their spouses, launching into an illicit and scandalous affair.
