On route to the lunch, Heather Rae El Moussa shared her excitement about her pregnancy with her Instagram followers. She admitted that she was happy the news is finally out and that she could finally stop hiding her belly with big t-shirts and sweatshirts tied around her waist.
The Selling Sunset Cast Celebrated the News
She finished the Instagram story by revealing she was on her way to meet her besties from Selling Sunset to celebrate the occasion and catch up because she’s missed them.
During lunch, Heather posted a video of her and her friends smiling around a table. She also uploaded a photo of her chopped salad, writing “such a fun girls’ lunch” next to her meal.
Selling Sunset castmate Chrishell Stause shared an array of photos of their gathering at the Beverly Hills hotel. The lunch was also attended by Mary Fitzgerald, Emma Hernan, and Chelsea Lazkani.
Heather’s Pregnancy Was a Secret
Heather Rae El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa announced their pregnancy exclusively to PEOPLE on July 13, 2022. The couple was amid in vitro fertilization treatments when they got the happy news that they are going to be parents.
During the interview, Heather admitted that the news caught them by surprise because they weren’t expecting it. In fact, they had scheduled a date to transfer an embryo next fall. She continued by saying that once the initial shock wore off, both she and her husband were elated by the fact that they would be parents.
The El Moussas started dating in 2019 and tied the knot in the autumn of 2021. Having a child wasn’t among their initial priorities because Tarek already had two kids from his previous marriage while Heather was feeling happy in the role of a “bonus mom.”
But their plans changed as their love for one another grew. Heather started imagining herself having a child with Tarek, which is when they decided to start trying. While the road hasn’t been easy, the couple will finally see their dreams come true.
Now that they’re expecting their first child together, the Selling Sunset star and her husband must quickly prepare for the arrival of the latest El Moussa family member.
