You read that right. Khloe Kardashian is having a second baby with now ex Tristan Thompson. Khloe’s rep shared the news and confirmed that their second child was conceived in November via surrogate. Baby No. 2 for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

The news may be confusing given the fact that Khloe and Tristan are no longer together and have a purely co-parenting relationship over their daughter True, but it was all a matter of weird timing. According to a source, the baby was conceived via surrogate before Khloe and the public found out that Tristan was having a baby with someone else last December.

Khloe’s rep’s announcement shared that she is “incredibly grateful” to the surrogate and is beyond happy with the news for baby No. 2.

Khloe’s Past Struggles With Conceiving

If you’ve been following Khloe Kardashian for a while, you’ve likely heard about her struggles to conceive in the past. She opened up about her fertility problems on a 2021 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashian, where she shared that she’d be considered “high risk” if she were to get pregnant again. It’s then that she told her sister Kim that she was considering surrogacy.

Although Khloe didn’t go into too much detail, she also shared in the episode that doctors warned her of an 80-something percent chance that she could miscarry, which almost happened to her when she was pregnant with True. It’s most likely Kim that encouraged her to go through with the surrogacy since she herself had two of her four children via surrogate.

The family is asking the media for privacy during this exciting time, and it will be up to Khloe Kardashian to decide how and when she wants to share any updates about her and Tristan’s second baby.
