We all remember vividly how Spider-Man came to join the MCU and be part of the heroic Avengers. It all started when things got heated up between Iron Man and his partner Captain America in Captain America: Civil War. Iron Man wanting to strengthen his team went in search of Peter Parker. Little did little Peter know that Tony Stark would thereafter be his mentor and uncle.
Tony made sure that Peter had the best fighting suits and gadgets that he required. He could easily get them from the multi-billion dollar Stark Industry alongside receiving lessons on how to be a better superhero from Uncle Tony.
As fate would have it, Spider-Man’s joy did not last long following Avengers: Endgame’s sacrificial scene where Tony Stark had to sacrifice his life for the universe. To Spider-Man, it was just like losing another Uncle Ben. That is why Spider-Man: Far
From Home was to not only conclude Phase three but also showcase Peter Parker’s life without Iron Man.
Interestingly, Parker behaved in such a way that he was really trying to fill Iron Man’s void in many parts of the movie. As a result of this, many questions that can only be answered by the MCU arose. Will Spider-Man be the continuation of Tony and his legacy or will he stand by himself as an independent superhero?
Peter is lucky to be having some of Tony’s intellect together with his signature glasses. The glasses were not the best fashion for a teen like Peter and that could be the reason as to why he took them for granted-They’re just ordinary glasses, maybe according to him.
This in one way or another inducted him to be easily swayed and give away the glasses to Quentin Beck, a very infamous villain. The fancy suit that he had received from Tony is lost and that’s when it becomes necessary for him to use the original suit to fight. His success at the end implies that Peter can be Spider-Man with or without Stark.
In another instance in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter rides in on a private jet despite having the webs and all that he would require to fly. In addition to the jet, he also has a new Stark-Spidery suit and in the end, he comes out as a champion after he thumps Mysterio towards the end of the film.
In a nutshell, Spider-Man does not have to be the one to step into Iron-Man’s shoes. In any case, he’s got homework to do, bills to clear and a girl to surprise that; “”I am Spider-Man!”” and most important of all, the universe to protect.
Maybe the MCU just wanted to showcase the impact of Iron Man’s death but trying to make Spider-Man the next Iron Man is an idea the fans won’t take lightly, not while his sling webs exist. All in all, we have never known what MCU’s next step would be. It might be a plan of making a super Spider-Man!
