Peter Parker in the MCU versus Peter Parker from the Multiverse

As it stands, we have two different versions of the web-slingers who keep hitting our theaters with a reckoning force. These are Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire both commonly known as Peter Parker. Here is a comparison of the two.

Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker

It goes without saying that the bespoke Peter Parker is always struggling to live as an average man. Besides being a superhero, he’s got homework to do, a roof to keep over his head and most importantly, a girl to impress and love.
Becoming an adult comes with responsibilities but having powers as an adult becomes a different thing altogether. He’s got a great task to protect the multiverse from villains and other law breakers.
This is the reason as to why Tobey Maguire’s Parker is living under the adage that “To whom much is given, from him much is expected” besides living up to the shadow of his late Uncle Ben.

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is Certainly Different

We may not have seen who Tom Holland’s Peter Parker was but we have surely seen him grow in the MCU. Just like Uncle Ben in the Multiverse, Peter has got Tony Stark who mentors him and teaches him the ways of a superhero.
Peter was quickly inducted to the Avengers the moment he snatched Captain’s shield in Captain America: Civil war. Since then, he would not be the ordinary Peter Parker. Thanks to Tony Stark’s technology, which was left, all for him after Tony Stark died; he was left with wisdom just like Uncle Ben passed on wisdom to Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker before dying in his arms.

This Change is Really Great for The MCU

Since Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is different, there is no big deal in him going out on a vacation with his automated suit. His world is much bigger than that of Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker. On the other hand, Tom Holland’s Peter is quite younger but the experience he has gotten so far is beyond comprehending.
For instance, he had to watch his only mentor-Tony Stark sacrifice his life in order to save the universe in the Avengers: Endgame. However, this does not make him to choose a normal life over the heroic, in fact this streamlines him to become a more vengeful Avenger and Spider-Man Far From Home can attest to that.

The Change is Also Great for Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man

Life in the Multiverse was not that tight for Toby Maguire’s Spider-Man. He could easily handle the occasional super-villains and frequent robbers then walk briskly into his class room. Of course, the world in MCU is so demanding that you would be usually on your suit.
It is now very clear that the two Spider-men are different superheroes based on their setting and personal lives. In addition to them being incredible in saving their own universes.
For now, the two are separate but the future always comes with more changes. Who knows? The two amazing superheroes may partner in one of the Spider-Verse sequels.
